Now that summer is very close to being done and school is back in session, it is time to find crafts and project that can be done inside. If you traveled at all this summer, then this is the perfect project to start as a family or on your own. With this project, you will be able to save those great traveling moments forever.
There are many great things that happen during the Easter holiday season. One of these is the dying of eggs and hiding them for children to find. This is a great tradition that is done by many people. The only downside is that you have all these pretty eggshells left over that most people will just end up throwing away. Well this year do something different with the leftover eggshells. Take the colored eggshells and use them to make a beautiful photo frame. These photo frames are easy to make and have instructions that are simple to follow. So this year, take the time to do a little recycling and make beautiful home decor items.

Since we are all crafters, (or we wouldn’t be looking at Craft Tutorials) I just wanted to share this great new craft table we have started to carry. Usually I just post fun crafts that I have done or come across but I love to scrapbook and this table makes it so easy. How many times do you want to start a scrapbook project or any project for that matter and know you won’t finish so you don’t start because you will have stuff all over the kitchen table until you get your project done? Well this is the greatest table, it has compartments in it and a thing that closes over the top of the compartments so when you put your supplies into the compartments and close the lid, it fits down into the compartment and holds everything into place, then just fold up the table and put it aside, when you come back to work on your project again, everything is exactly where you left it. This is just such a cool table I had to share.

I found those great 9 inch wood letters by Provo Craft and really loved them but just really didn’t know what to do with them so I decided to decorate them and add some black and white photos, something just a little different. This was a great way to use some of my left over scrapbook supplies. I photo copied some of my grandkids pictures and used the black and white copies. Please note that if you use photos that you have printed on your own printer, adding anything wet to them will run the ink, so don’t put modge podge on them. Once you have made copies then you can modge podge the photos onto your letters. The rest is just a matter of hot gluing your embellishments on. I cut some pieces of scrap wood for the base and hot glued the wood letters onto the base but you could hang them on the wall.

If you want to use the colored photos just glue them onto the letters instead of ModgePoge, then you won’t worry about them getting wet and the ink running.

(Sorry about that the photos aren’t the best, I am working on my photography skills)
