I had this craft given to me by a friend of mine. It looked very interesting and used recycled something that everyone has in their house. It was super easy to do and was a lot of fun to do. Even the younger kids would be able to do this one with some assistance.
Materials Needed:
- Toilet paper roll
- Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Raffia or string
- Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Instructions:
1. Take a piece of paper, constructions paper works best because it is thicker, and draw two feet and arms as well as a head. Cut out a strip to cover the entire roll for its body color.
2. Color pieces, if you want.
3. Glue the large rectangle onto the toilet paper roll.
4. Glue on the head, arms, legs.
5. If you want to get a bit more creative, you can glue on some raffia, wool or string to form a tail in the back.
